The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the world’s largest mosques, located in Abu Dhabi. It was built between 1996 and 2007 and takes its name from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, the founder of the UAE. Dubai Museum is the main museum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Al Fahidi Fort, built in 1787 and is the oldest existing building in Dubai. The museum was opened by the Ruler of Dubai in 1971, with the aim of presenting the traditional way of life in the Emirate of Dubai. When entering, one can see the fort constructed and the various displays that go along with it. From the fort, there is a path to the galleries, which display the general culture of the land, especially in the 1800s. It includes local antiques as well as artifacts from African and Asian countries that traded with Dubai. It also includes several dioramas showing life in the emirate before the advent of oil, in addition to artifacts from recent discoveries as old as 3000 BC. The museum has displayed from pearl diving boats to swords and jewellery and a lovely close-to-life spice souk, which filled with real smells and actual spices.

The Jumeirah Mosque is an epitome of Islamic architecture and a beacon of cultural understanding in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Constructed entirely from white stone in the medieval Fatimid tradition, the mosque is not only a place of worship but also a symbol of Dubai’s religious and cultural heritage. Opened in 1979, the Jumeirah Mosque stands out for its intricate Arabic calligraphy and exquisite interior design, featuring detailed Arabic motifs and spectacular open courtyards. It is one of the few mosques in Dubai open to non-Muslim visitors, embodying a message of openness and cultural exchange. The mosque’s twin minarets frame the large central dome, making it an impressive sight, particularly when it is lit up in the evening. Dubai Dolphinarium is a fully air-conditioned indoor dolphinarium in the Middle East, providing habitat to dolphins and seals, allowing the public to watch and interact with them through live shows and photo sessions. It is located at Creek Park near the Children’s City within the vicinity of Oud Metha and Bur Dubai. Dubai Dolphinarium was opened on May 21, 2008 in partnership with Dubai Municipality, and is sponsored and supported by Dubai government to provide the general public with entertainment and also educate them regarding dolphins, seals and other marine organisms. It was also reflected that interacting with such friendly mammals like dolphins will motivate young generation to protect marine life and the environment.

The Dubai Fountain, located at the base of the iconic Burj Khalifa and just outside the doors of the famous Dubai Mall, features the world’s largest choreographed fountain system. This popular dancing water show jets water streams as high as 150 metres in the air. Each colourful, illuminated jet sways in time to various musical numbers from around the world, producing what has become the one of the most popular shows in Dubai.
